870.25 Temporary Detention Areas in Police Facilities - Second Universal Review

This directive is in its second universal review. Principal changes include the removal of content related to Juveniles, while referencing Directive 850.30 Juvenile Interviews, Detention and Custody instead. Additional content was removed and replaced with references to Standard Operating Procedures that provide necessary details related to custody logs, contamination procedures for Holding Rooms, and other operational details. Medical and safety related guidelines were added to align with accreditation standards.
