This directive is being posted for Second Universal Review for a second time. After consulting with stakeholders and executive leadership the Bureau has determined that Portland Police Officers should not take limited role in TriMet enforcement. The current draft directive will continue the practice of Portland Police Officers responding to calls for service on TriMet vehicles and property when Transit Police are unavailable.
