We are excited to have Granite Construction join us for our forecasting meeting. Granite is the prime contractor for the NW 9th and Hoyt Sewer & Water Pipe Improvement Project. This Project, managed by Environmental Services and the Portland Water Bureau, will upgrade sewer and water pipes near the US Postal Service site in NW Portland in the Broadway Corridor. The Project will protect the public and the environment by increasing pipe capacity and reducing the possibility of sewage releases.

At this Fair Contracting Forum+’s forecasting meeting, Granite will discuss the numerous scopes of work available for subcontractors. Mandatory Prebid Meeting: November 1, 2022 at 10:00am to be held at Washington Park – 4033 SW Canyon Rd, Portland, OR 97221 (note the mandatory prebid is only required for prime contractors. Although recommended subcontractors are not required to attend)

Summary of Work: Washington Park – South Entry Project includes all materials, labor, permits, and other requirements outlined in the Contract Documents or inferred by the Contract Documents, necessary to complete the new entryway design as listed in the drawings and specifications. Project development includes but is not limited to; Street Work (paving, flaggers, staging, etc..), stone masonry, retaining walls, electrical and general utility installation, earthwork, concrete flat work & footings, asphalt paving, landscape and irrigation installation, signage and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.

Prequalification Required in: Class 2 – Street Improvements or Class 30 – Park Improvements at $5,000,000 (note prequal is only required for prime contractors)
