• We will never request your banking information.

• The only personal information we might ask for is your email and details related to your work with the City of Portland.

• Your information is of utmost importance to us. Rest assured; we will never share your personal details with any third parties.

• Emails and websites used by the City of Portland almost always end in .gov. If a communication looks suspicious in any way, look for the .gov domain at the end of its address.

• All applications you will be working with in city emails are Microsoft powered. These include Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, and Teams. If you ever encounter an application claiming to be from us that is not Microsoft-powered, please treat it as suspicious.
