STEP 1
NEW Suppliers to the City of Portland – Complete a New Supplier Request to begin the supplier registration process.
Complete a New Supplier Request form
Suppliers that have done business with the City of Portland may have a migrated account – Start at STEP 2.
STEP 2
NEW Suppliers – After your New Supplier Request is approved, you will receive an email from the City with instructions for completing the Supplier Registration Questionnaire.
Suppliers that have done business with the City of Portland may have a migrated account – Schedule a one-on-one session (in-person, virtual, or phone call) with our Support Team to receive assistance accessing your Supplier Registration Questionnaire.
STEP 3
Complete the Supplier registration questionnaire. You will need:
- A Portland Supplier Portal account: If your organization is already registered with the SAP Business Network, you will need the username and password to login. Go to your organization's SAP Business Network account administrator for assistance. You may find the Create an account for the Portland Supplier Portal tutorial helpful.
- W-9: A signed and dated, read-only W-9 in the latest IRS format.
- ACH Information: Either a voided check or a letter from your financial institution that includes account holder name, account numbers and routing numbers to be paid by ACH.
- Portland Business License Tax Number: Required only for selling goods, services or construction-related improvements to the City. To register or find more information, visit Business Tax Filing and Payment Information.
- Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID) Certification Number: Required only if you have a certification from the Oregon State Certification Office of Business Inclusion and Diversity at COBID.
The City of Portland may ask for additional information before approving a Supplier Registration Questionnaire. Suppliers can update the Supplier Registration Questionnaire at any time. The City will notify Suppliers by email once their registration is approved.
