BRFS provides centralized financial services, revenue collection, business regulation, financial reporting and compliance to all City bureaus. The bureau includes seven divisions including Accounting, Debt Management, Grants Management, Procurement Services, Revenue, Risk, and Treasury.
Risk Management manages liability claims against the city. We administer workers' compensation & employee return to work. Risk is self-insured and buys commercial insurance for risks not self-insured. Other services include worker safety, loss prevention, risk assessment & third-party subrogation.
