Dear [friend],
Join us in improving our Fiscal Year 2024-25 Budget at an upcoming community listening session!
City Council is listening to community input on the Fiscal Year 2024/25 Budget. Share your insights and opinions on how the City can best allocate resources to support your community in Portland.
Community members can sign up to give a two-minute testimony on budget issues they care about during one of three Public Listening Sessions:
Sign up for April 10, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm session
Sign up for April 13, 10 am – 12 pm session
Sign up for April 15, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm session
The Council will be attending remotely. Testimonies will be given by electronic communication (internet connection or telephone). The public can provide testimonies using a live remote platform (Zoom) or join the session at the Portland Building located at 1120 SW 5th Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97204. Room 100. Participants who choose to join in at the Portland Building may use the audio/visual technology set up at that location; however, advance sign-up is still required.
All sessions include interpretation in ASL with additional languages upon request.
Can’t make it? Don’t worry! You can watch the listening sessions live or later on the City's YouTube Channel (eGov PDX), www.PortlandOregon.gov/video, and Channel 30.
You may also submit written comments to Council by filling out the budget comment form or by emailing BudgetComment@PortlandOregon.gov.
