Bureau Budget Advisory Committees

Bureau budget advisory committees (BACs) discuss and advise upon bureau budget decisions. Because of the critical, sustained interaction between decision makers and community members, participation in the committees is one of the most effective ways to provide input throughout the budget process.
Community Budget Advisory Board
Advisory group
The Community Budget Advisory Board consists of five members who are residents of the City of Portland and are nominated and confirmed by City Council. They serve staggered three-year terms and may be reappointed. They participate in Council budget deliberations.
Portland Utility Board
Advisory group
The Portland Utility Board is a community oversight body advising City Council and bureau leadership of the Bureau of Environmental Services and the Portland Water Bureau. PUB believes every person is entitled to clean and affordable drinking water, healthy communities, and healthy watersheds.
