Navigate through the phases of FY 2025-26 Budget Development
Local Budget Law governs local government budgeting in Oregon, Chapter 294 of the Oregon Revised Statutes. Residents involved in the budget process work to ensure the services they require and want are adequately funded. City officials are responsible for building a budget that reflects the public interest and is structurally correct.
Fiscal Year 2025-26 Budget Calendar
Information on testifying in person or virtually at Council meetings and hearings can be found at the links in the table below. Public testimony is not taken at work sessions. Council does not vote or take any action because work sessions are information only.
