The 2024-2025 budget is a spending plan covering the fiscal year between July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. Budget development for this fiscal year will occur from September 2023 to June 2024. The budget developed through this process will take effect on July 1, 2024.

Local government budgeting in Oregon is governed by Local Budget Law, Chapter 294 of the Oregon Revised Statutes. Residents involved in the budget process work to ensure the services they require and want are adequately funded. City officials are responsible for building a budget that reflects the public interest and is structurally correct.
