Highlights

All the concepts include a new main street on SW Collins St east of Capitol Hwy, redevelopment of the Barbur Transit Center (BTC) and preservation of larger low-cost apartment complexes in area. Highlights include the unique features of each growth concept to show how they are different.

  • Growth in larger mixed use buildings along Barbur, with a focus on employment uses in the southern stretch of the town center  
  • Residential growth in new multi-dwelling buildings north along Capitol Highway 
  • A multicultural mixed use hub in commercial area at Pomona and Capitol Highway
