Are rain, cold and darkness keeping you off your bike right now? Sure, it gets pretty wet in the Northwest, but with a little extra preparation you can get around by bike in all seasons. Join us for an interactive session to learn tips and techniques for staying dry, comfortable, and safe while riding all year 'round.

We'll also talk about how to keep your bike happy when the weather is gloomy.

Quick tips for finding used rain-friendly bike gear:

  • Some local bike shops, like Community Cycling Center and Bike Farm, carry used bike gear and accessories.
  • Some outdoor shops, like Foster Outdoor, Next Adventure, and REI Re/Supply, carry used bike-friendly clothing and rain gear.
  • Look for used rain gear, fenders, and more on Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and other online marketplaces, or on your neighborhood Buy Nothing Group.
