Available Online

Join us for the annual celebration of Open Data in Portland to learn more about how the City works with data and makes it available to the public. Open data day is celebration of open data all over the world. Portland started celebrating it in 2021 as a way to create community around transparency and data best practices.

Open data is a tool that the government can use to publish data and information about its operations and programs in a proactive way. It helps with transparency, public engagement, and can empower local communities.

This year the agenda includes live and recorded presentations. Live presentations are intended to invite city employees and community members interested in city data to ask questions to our guest speakers. All these sessions will be recorded, and materials shared on the Smart City PDX program website

Send us any of your questions or concerns in advance to smartcitypdx@portlandoregon.gov
