The Smart City PDX program and the Office of Equity and Human Rights are opening a space for collective conversation and collaboration, where experts and community members can work together and contribute to the greater social good in Portland.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is appearing in the news often and many people do not understand this technology. The goal of this session is to provide information about basic concepts of AI and how the City of Portland is working on strategies to create safeguards and assure equitable benefits to all Portlanders.

You do not need any understanding of technology to this introductory session. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions live. Portlanders can also ask questions in advance by sending an email to smartcitypdx@portlandoregon.gov or using the registration form to this event.
