The Planning Commission will hold a hearing on July 22nd to review draft proposals to streamline public infrastructure upgrades and improvements in natural areas. The public is encouraged to tune in and participate. Information on how to sign up to testify or submit comments can be found below.

Proposed Draft released

The Public Infrastructure Environmental Code Project Proposed Draft has been released for public review. 

The Public Infrastructure Environmental Code Project will amend the requirements of the City’s environmental overlay zones, also known as ezones, to facilitate needed improvements to public infrastructure and allow for management of trees, vegetation, and other natural resources in publicly owned and maintained natural areas.

There are two ways you can provide feedback on the Public Infrastructure Environmental Code Project Proposed Draft:

  • Review the Proposed Draft and submit comments using the Map App.  
    Written comments can be submitted using the Map App through July 22nd.
  • Testify at the Planning Commission Hearing on July 22. The hearing will be held in a hybrid format. Attendees can attend in person or watch the hearing online. More information is available on the Planning Commission website. If you would like to testify about the Public Infrastructure Environmental Code Project, you can sign up on the Planning Commission website between July 12 and 5:00 p.m. on July 21.
