Future I-5 Highway Cover: Lower Albina Planning Session

This is a City-led work session focused on the future ODOT I-5 highway cover.

Members of the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability (BPS), Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT), and ZGF Architects facilitated an interactive work session with ODOT's Historic Albina Advisory Committee (HAAB) and the Community Oversight Advisory Committee (COAC), as well as invited guests.

This session continued the exploration of how potential highway cover uses relate to public spaces and the surrounding street network, building on visioning work previously done by Albina Vision Trust in collaboration with HAAB, COAC, and community stakeholders.

Public comment was held at the end of the work session, with opportunities for both in-person and online participants to speak.
