Information about the purpose of the Portland Industrial Land Readiness Project (PILR).
Project purpose
The Portland Industrial Land Readiness project (PILR) is a technical study to better understand what investments or policy changes could make more of our existing industrial land ready for development. The project will inform the Economic Opportunities Analysis (EOA) and will involve technical analysis as well as a series of TAC meetings with subject matter experts. In April 2024, the City Council accepted a $350,000 grant from Metro to implement the PILR project.
