Delayed garbage service this week
Portland residential garbage, recycling and compost will be delayed this week (September 14 – 18) due to hazardous air quality.
Leave your carts out and they will be picked up as soon as it is safe to do so. Pick up may occur on Saturday. Garbage will be prioritized, so there is a chance your recycling and/or compost won’t be emptied until next week.
Businesses and multifamily properties may also experience delays.
