What you can (and can't) drop off
Bring large, bulky items that don't fit in your garbage bin.

For garbage dumpsters:
- Mattresses*, box springs, and bed frames
- Furniture (couch, table, chair)
- Small appliances (toaster, vacuum, microwave)
- Treated lumber & wood stumps
- Microwaves*
- Other large items that are too large to fit in your curbside garbage container
- *Mattresses and microwaves will be recycled.
For donation: If you have household items in good, working condition (no broken or missing parts), they may be collected by Community Warehouse and other local nonprofits to give to community members who need them.
Nonprofits are especially interested in clean mattresses, queen and twin-size bed frames with box springs or slats, dressers, couches, dining tables and chairs, nightstands, and tools (electric and manual tools for home repair, gardening, and cooking).

- Tires
- TVs & other electronics
- Appliances with freon (air conditioners, refrigerators, and freezers)
- Construction materials (except for wood)
- Batteries
- Paint
- Propane tanks
- Chemicals (pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, poisons, antifreeze, thinners & solvents, household cleaners)
- CFL light bulbs
- Car brakes and linings
- Yard waste (grass, leaves, branches)
Other disposal & donation options
For large, bulky items, you can contact your garbage company to get a cost estimate and pickup appointment, or you can look into other pickup or donation options.
