Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon (APANO)

APANO unites Asians and Pacific Islanders to build power, develop leaders, and advance equity through organizing, advocacy, community development, and cultural work.

City of Portland Office of Equity and Human Rights (OEHR)

OEHR was created to promote equity and reduce disparities within City government. It provides guidance, education and technical assistance to all bureaus as they develop sustainable methods to build capacity in achieving equitable outcomes and service.

OEHR works with community partners to promote equity and inclusion within Portland and throughout the region, producing measurable improvements and disparity reductions;. OEHR supports human rights and opportunities for everyone to achieve their full potential and works to resolve issues rooted in bias and discrimination, through research, education, and interventions.

Equitable Giving Circle

A community of people who have committed to community giving through small donations, event fundraising, volunteering, and community-building. Our aim is to empower BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) communities in Portland by  leveraging economic deposits from communities of privilege to empower BIPOC communities and begin to move towards economic equity. Shifting economic power will create ripples of real change.

Imagine Black

Imagine Black envisions a world where people of African descent enjoy the rights, resources, and recognition to be a thriving, resilient, and connected community. Imagine Black helps Portland’s Black community imagine the alternatives we deserve, builds our political participation, and supports leadership to achieve those alternatives. 

Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO)

The Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO) serves the holistic needs of Oregon's immigrants, refugees and mainstream community members. As a community-based organization, we empower children, youth, families and elders from around the world to build new lives and become self-sufficient by providing more than 200 culturally and linguistically specific social services.

Stand Against Hate Bias Response Hotline

Trauma-informed operators are standing by 9am to 5pm Pacific time, Monday - Friday. Interpreters in over 240 languages. Whether it happened to you or to someone else, we can all help track hate and bias incidents. It is up to all Oregonians to make sure that everyone is safe in their community.

Portland United Against Hate (PUAH)/ReportHatePDX

Portland United Against Hate (PUAH) is a coalition of more than 80 community organizations, neighborhood groups, agencies, and local governments working together to support those targeted by hate. PUAH manages ReportHatePDX, a reporting and tracking tool where people can record hateful acts, and we analyze the data quarterly to help focus community leaders on solutions. Partner organizations provide trauma informed care and social services to those impacted by hate.

Resources for LGBTQ2SIA+ community members including community-based and peer-led support and activity groups.

Racial Equity Support Line

The Racial Equity Support Line is a service led and staffed by people with lived experience of racism. We offer support to those who are feeling the emotional impacts of racist violence and microaggressions, as well as the emotional impacts of immigration struggles and other cross-cultural issues.

Stop AAPI Hate

The Stop AAPI Hate reporting center tracks and responds to incidents of hate, violence, harassment, discrimination, shunning, and child bullying against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States.

Unite Oregon

Led by people of color, immigrants and refugees, rural communities, and people experiencing poverty, we work across Oregon to build a unified intercultural movement for justice.
