Do you own rental property? Are you a homeowner considering fixing up and renting out your garage or basement?  Are you thinking about buying or selling an occupied rental?  This brief overview will cover recent updates to laws that may affect you. Review changes to landlord notification requirements, what happens when a rental agreement expires, and state-wide limits on rent increases.
