The Office of Mayor Ted Wheeler, Commissioner-in-Charge of the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability, is working with his colleagues to bring legislative land use changes in Spring/Summer 2020. We know there are many beneficial outcomes from these land use changes – outcomes that we have heard are needed now more than ever.

Join the Mayor's Office, Commissioner Chloe Eudaly's Office, the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability, and the Bureau of Transportation to learn about updates on some of Portland's smart growth changes in Spring/Summer 2020.

Projects will include:

  • Expanding Opportunities for Affordable Housing

  • Central City 2035

  • Land Use Expiration Date Extension Project

  • Residential Infill Project

Please note: This session is not a land use hearing. Public comments and testimony on any legislative proposals discussed during the meeting will not be included in the land use record. If you wish to include testimony in the record for a particular project, please consult the project website or contact the identified staff person to learn more about when the record is open.

For questions about the webinar, please contact the Mayor’s liaison to the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability, Sam Diaz, at Samuel.Diaz@portlandoregon.gov.
