Open Data Day is an annual celebration of open data all over the world. Groups from around the world create local events on the day where they will use open data in their communities.
The City of Portland celebrated open data day on March 2 with short presentations on how the City of Portland is working with data to provide services and guest speakers sharing data strategies in government.
This is the second year that the City of Portland Open Data Program has celebrated Open Data Day. View last year's event details.
Public trust is nurtured with transparency and meaningful engagement. Open data helps both.
