Starting January 1, 2026: Equitable Gas Leaf Blower Phase-out

Portland City Council unanimously voted to phase out gas leaf blowers starting January 1, 2026. This policy, to be implemented by Multnomah County, will improve public health and quality of life for landscape workers and other residents. The full ban begins in 2028.
