Event details

Join us for the final “Climate Conversations with BPS” event. Presenters will share progress made to build out Portland’s community-wide electric vehicle infrastructure, remove fossil fuel from the City’s fleet of vehicles, and implement a strategy for a clean industrial sector. You’ll learn why each matters to our climate goals.

Chief Sustainability Officer Vivian Satterfield will also join the conversation with a look ahead for climate action planning in Portland, as the government transition accelerates and the new Sustainability and Climate Commission takes shape.

This is an opportunity for you to explore how policy and community actions work together to get us to a zero-carbon future. Join the conversation, share your ideas, and ask questions.

Climate action is challenging work, and we are all in this together. From businesses, government agencies, and nonprofits to actions and engagement from community members, everyone has a role in helping reach our collective carbon reduction goals by 2050.

Climate Conversations

BPS staff and community members have an opportunity to discuss what what we’re doing to meet communitywide climate goals, answer questions, and explore more together.
