Join us for the third “Climate Conversations with BPS” event, featuring two identical presentation time options (October 18 at 6 p.m. and October 19 at noon). Both will give you an opportunity to learn what Portland staff accomplished during the first year of the Climate Emergency Workplan and engage with BPS staff.
We’ll go deeper on progress towards building out Portland’s electric vehicle infrastructure and developing a strategy for clean industry. You’ll also learn why each matters to our climate goals, the path so far and what completion means for the community.
Climate action is challenging work, and we are all in this together. From businesses, government agencies, and nonprofits to actions and engagement from community members, everyone has a role in helping reach our collective carbon reduction goals by 2050.
This is an opportunity for you to explore how policy and community actions work together to get us to net zero. Join the conversation, share your ideas, and ask questions.
Climate staff and community members have an opportunity to discuss what what we’re doing to meet communitywide climate goals, answer questions, and explore more together.
