Required Safe and Respectful Jobsites training

RISE Up Worker Orientation (English)

Worker Orientation is required for anyone working on PCEF-funded projects. You will learn how to identify behaviors that compromise safety and jobsite culture and build intervention skills to address these situations.

RISE Up Manager Training (English) 

This training focuses on how managers can create safe and respectful jobsites by addressing negative workplace behaviors such as hazing, bullying, discrimination, and harassment.

What is the training program?

RISE Up is a safe and respectful workplace program designed for the construction industry that incorporates bystander intervention and harassment prevention training to ensure construction jobsites are safe and inclusive.

Why do I need it?

All workers have the right to a safe and respectful jobsite. To support this goal, PCEF requires that all workers and supervisors on PCEF-funded projects with construction-related improvements receive RISE Up training. 

What do I need to do?

There are three ways you can meet the training requirement: 

  • In-person team training. PCEF will cover the in-person RISE Up Training cost if your organization prefers this. To schedule, email riseup@oregontradeswomen.org.
  • Complete the above online interactive PCEF RISE Up video training. En Español. 
  • Request approval for previous completion of a PCEF-approved positive worksite training. Contact riseup@oregontradeswomen.org for more information.
