The Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund (PCEF) seeks two new members who reside in Portland for its nine-member Committee. The committee evaluates grant applications, makes PCEF grant funding recommendations to Portland City Council, and ensures PCEF is achieving its goals. Committee members shall have a demonstrated commitment to furthering the goals of the City’s climate action efforts and empowering historically disadvantaged groups, including women, people of color, people with disabilities, and the chronically underemployed. 

PCEF is committed to ensuring that Portland's diverse communities see themselves represented on the committee. In this recruitment opportunity, the committee seeks:

  • A community member with knowledge of Native American history, an understanding of the diversity of the local American Indian/Alaska Native community and issues surrounding the Urban Indian experience.
  • A community member with knowledge of practices to promote minority-owned and/or women-owned businesses.
