Informational sessions

We recommended all applicants watch our informational video about the RFP 3 application process before applying.

We also hosted an in-person informational event to provide an overview of the application process and answer participants’ questions.

Technical assistance webinars

We hosted webinars to support applicants in the development of their grant proposals. Sessions were recorded and links to the videos posted online. Grant Writing & Budget Development: Kelley Nonprofit Consulting provided an overview of best practices for grant writing and budget development.

Energy efficiency in multifamily and commercial buildings: Evergreen Consulting Group provided an overview of the core elements in developing a strong project scope, including key considerations, pricing your project, and partnering with the right contractors.

Technical assistance Q&A sessions

Technical assistance providers and PCEF staff hosted a series of Q&A opportunities to answer applicant questions. 

  • General support Q&A session.
  • Grant writing and budget development.
    • Applicants could sign-up for one-on-one meetings with Kelley Nonprofit Consulting to receive individual support. Meeting availability was limited.

Office hours

PCEF staff were available nearly every Wednesday during the open application period to answer applicant questions. Office hours were 30 minutes long. Up to two organizations were able to sign up for each time slot, and participants shared their time between the two organizations. Multiple staff from each organization could attend.
