The Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund (PCEF) is providing free online trainings as an additional component of the launch of our first major Request for Proposals (RFP) funding round. These free, completely optional online training opportunities will help nonprofit organizations build their capacity and get better prepared to develop grant applications. There will be a mix of instructional guidance related to grant writing in general, along with some PCEF-specific elements to consider.

These trainings are not intended to be a workshop space to develop specific PCEF project ideas, but there will be opportunity for Q&A as part of the trainings. The instructional content will be the same for each of the respective Narrative Building and Budget Development trainings, and they will be recorded. Attendance at trainings is completely voluntary and will not be used in any way in the selection of grant awards for PCEF funds.
