We held our first two Climate Investment Plan (CIP) Visioning and Community events last month and were thrilled to have so many community members share their thoughts.
In the public workshop, we had the chance to sit down with you in person and discuss your concerns and ideas about climate-change and its impacts. We heard what changes you’d like to see happen in Portland, and the conversations you’ve been having with your friends, family, and colleagues. In the virtual session, we had robust discussions in our breakout rooms with staff listening and neighbors sharing climate solutions with one another.
There’s still time to give us your input
Take our online survey! The community visioning and priorities survey is open now through February 12, 2023. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and includes the same questions that we asked in the public workshop and virtual-listening session. If you haven’t had the chance to give us your thoughts on a climate-resilient Portland, the survey is a great opportunity to have your say!
Through these public-engagement events, your feedback will inform our work going forward, including drafting the CIP goals that prioritize the climate and community benefits most important to you.
