After many years in the making, a new long-range plan for growth and development in the central city plan is in effect.
On June 6, 2018, City Council voted to adopt the CC2035 Plan. Since then, the City of Portland has received two notices of intent to appeal Council’s decision. Once the City submits the required documents to the Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA), the appellants will be required to describe the nature of their appeals.
But as of Monday, July 9, 2018, the newly adopted plan is in effect, and the Bureau of Development Services is ready to accept development applications.
