At this year’s in- person Career Connections Job Fair, career seekers from all backgrounds with a wide variety of academic and professional experiences will be there to learn about work opportunities in this post-pandemic economy. Employers will have the opportunity to meet with diverse employees.
June 9,2023, Coalition of Communities of Color, (CCC)’s Summer Soireé 2023
This will be CCC’s biggest fundraising event of the year. Guests will explore the World Forestry Center’s Discovery Museum and continue mingling over drinks and hors d’oeuvres until 9pm. Join them to reflect on their shared accomplishments over the past year and set goals for the future.
June 17- 18, 2023, Juneteenth OR, 2023 Juneteenth Oregon Celebration
In Oregon, Juneteenth Oregon Celebration was founded over 50 years ago by the late and beloved community leader Clara Peoples. Juneteenth Oregon’s celebration normally starts with a parade, followed by the festivities which includes live music and entertainment, art, food, booths, child's play area.
June 24 - 25, 2023, Good In The Hood 30th Anniversary Celebration
GITH is one of the largest multi-cultural festivals on the Pacific Northwest Rose Festival Sanctioned event. In 2017, Mayor Ted Wheeler proclaimed June 21st as Good In The Hood Unity in the Community Day acknowledging the organization’s mission for the over the years. This year marks 30 years!
