Bargaining Updates 

January 2023

On January 19, 2023, the City provided the PCL bargaining team with an updated offer. Please find the City’s most recent proposal here:

December 2022

The City’s Collective Bargaining Agreement with PCL expired on June 30, 2022, following a 12 month extension, due to COVID-19.

The City and the PCL Bargaining teams have been diligently negotiating since March 2022 to reach an agreement that works for all parties and recognizes the interest of both the City and the Union.

The parties began working with a State Mediator on December 6^th, 2022,  and the PCL bargaining team declared impasse on Thursday, December 22, 2022. As a result of this formal declaration, the parties each submitted their final offers to the Employment Relations Board on Thursday, December 29, 2022.
