Contract Status
Bargaining Updates
September 26, 2024:
Negotiations began in April 2024. As of September 26th, the parties have had ten bargaining sessions and have reached a total of eight tentative agreements, maintaining status quo language on more than 50% of the current contract. The parties have exchanged proposals on several issues with most of the remaining issues to resolve related to economics. The parties reached their 150 days of mandatory bargaining on September 15th’; they jointly requested mediation on September 19th. The parties are currently scheduled to continue bargaining on a weekly basis until the first mediation session scheduled November 14.
