How to Apply Classes for City of Portland

Each month the City offers interactive and informational courses on how to apply for City of Portland Jobs.

We invite you to explore the exciting and fulfilling public sector careers available with the City of Portland. Course participants will gain an understanding of the City of Portland’s online application process, types of employment, creating an account on our online Applicant Tracking System, reviewing job announcements, reviewing and submitting application materials, and interview information. 

If you would like to attend a session, you will need to register to receive a Zoom link.  Although the City has a large Zoom account, it does have limits, so please sign up early to ensure your attendance.

The City of Portland ensures meaningful access to City programs, services, and activities to comply with Civil Rights Tittle VI and ADA Title II laws and reasonably provides: translation, interpretation, modifications, accommodations, alternative formats, auxiliary aids and services. In accordance with this, the City plans to provide the services of an American Sign Language interpreter and open captioning (CART) during these  sessions. If you need some other accommodation please contact please contact Anna Morgan at Anna.Morgan@PortlandOregon.gov as soon as possible but no later than five (5) calendar days prior to the Workshop.
