Once a year, you get the chance to review, update, or enroll in your City of Portland benefits. Mark your calendar to make your benefit elections May 9 - May 27, 2025.

Open Enrollment begins Friday, May 9th, 2025 and ends 9:00pm PST on Tuesday, May 27th.

This is your chance to review, update, or enroll in your City of Portland benefits.

During Open Enrollment, you can:

  • Update your medical, dental, and vision plans

  • Enroll or re-enroll in Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

  • Review or change your life and long term disability insurance

  • Add or remove dependents—no life event required (provide proof of relationship)

  • Opt in to coverage if you’re not currently enrolled—or opt out if you have other coverage

Want to learn more? Attend an onsite or online information session with City Benefits staff and our Health and Financial Benefit Partners to learn about new plan options and get your questions answered.
