About the Labor Management Benefits Committee (LMBC)
The Labor Management Benefits Committee, a collaborative group comprised of managers and union representatives, is committed to providing affordable, sustainable, quality healthcare for employees and their families. They make plan design recommendations to City Council every year.
As stewards of the City’s self-insured medical plan, the LMBC values education, equity and individual responsibility for personal health. They are committed to providing effective communication and tools to enhance employee understanding of programs and embrace innovative approaches to addressing challenges and opportunities of the health benefits plan.
