Advisory: Sewage Release to Bridlemile Creek in SW Portland

On Friday, March 14, City crews responded to a sewage release from a private residence near SW Jerald Ct and SW Bridlemile Ln. The release originates from the property’s private sewer lateral, with sewage seeping into Bridlemile Creek.

City maintenance crews have placed warning signs near the affected area. As a precaution, people and pets are advised to avoid contact with Bridlemile Creek downstream of SW Jerald Ct and Fanno Creek downstream of SW 45th Ave. 

This advisory will remain in effect until the property owner completes the necessary repairs and for 48 hours after. This advisory will be updated once the repairs have been made.
