Starting the week of August 26, motorists and cyclists will encounter traffic disruptions on Interstate Avenue south of the N. Greeley Avenue exit ramp under I-5 due to construction activities related to the Beech Trunk Sewer Project.
What to Expect:
- No northbound closures: Traffic lanes will merge with bikes on Interstate Avenue. Left turns onto N. Greeley Avenue will still be permitted, allowing access to the west side of Interstate Avenue.
- Timeline: The traffic disruption is expected to last several days during the week of August 26 but is subject to change.
- Work hours: Construction will occur Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Safety and Traffic Control: Traffic control measures are in place to protect work crews and ensure the public's safety. Motorists and cyclists are urged to exercise caution and follow posted signage while traveling through the area.
