Environmental Services is seeking public comment on an application for EPA Brownfield Cleanup Grant funds to perform remediation work at 10505 N. Portland Road, Portland, OR 97203.

About the property

From before the 1940s until 1997, 10505 N. Portland Rd was occupied by various industries. The property - adjacent to the Columbia Boulevard Wastewater Treatment Plant – was purchased by Environmental Services in 2001. The City is seeking EPA grant funds for remediation on the site to address environmental contamination resulting from historic uses.

Submit a public comment

The public can submit comments on the draft application and Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives report. 

The public comment period is open until 5 p.m., November 13, 2024. Comments can be submitted to jenn.bildersee@portlandoregon.gov.

Public meeting

A public meeting will be held virtually on November 5, 2024 at 4 p.m.

The public is invited to join to learn more about and comment on the grant application and report.
