Environmental Services is proposing updates to three administrative rules, ENB-4.17, ENB-4.33, and ENB-4.15, that govern permitting of sewer connections and lateral repairs in the public right-of-way or sewer easement. The public comment period is closed.

- Proposed changes to Administrative Rule ENB-4.17, Sewer Connection and Lateral Repair Permitting will update Environmental Services' policies regarding new sewer lateral connection (UC) and sewer lateral repair (UR) permitting.
- Proposed changes to Administrative Rule ENB-4.33, Administrative Rules for Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) Lining of Privately Maintained Pipe in the Public Right-of-Way will update Environmental Services' policies regarding use of CIPP lining to repair private sewer lines and laterals that are not the City’s maintenance responsibility within the public right-of-way or a public sewer easement.
- Proposed changes to Administrative Rule ENB-4.15, BES Enforcement Program will focus on text revisions to improve clarity, predictability, and transparency.
