Environmental Services continues a study to determine the best way to replace or repair aging large-diameter public sewer pipes near Duniway Park. Having provided over 100 years of service, the pipes require repairs to maintain reliable sewer service and protect public health and the environment.

Project design will begin in early 2021. Construction is expected to start in January 2023 and will take a year to complete.

Project Area

The public sewer pipes being studied are located in Duniway Park and in public easements on private properties just west of Duniway Park.

What's Happening Now

Engineers have completed investigative activities related to the study and are in the process of reviewing the information. This study will help determine the repair locations, construction methods, and how to minimize construction impacts on residents and businesses.
