North Bradford Sewer Project

Sewer and Stormwater
Active
Environmental Services is designing a project to abandon a deteriorated sewer pipe under North Bradford Street between Burlington and Richmond Avenues and reroute all private connections to adjacent streets. Taking these actions now will help prevent sewage releases and improve future maintenance.
Construction is expected to begin in September 2024 and take about 6 months to complete.

Project Map

Sewer pipe that will be abandoned is located on North Bradford Street between North Burlington and Richmond avenues.

What's Happening Now

Over the next year, work crews will be in the project area to perform investigative activities. Activities include site visits and evaluation, survey, soil sampling, utility locates, pipe cleaning and inspection. Some investigative activities will require restricting parking and closing travel lanes. The traveling public should expect minor traffic delays. Information gathered will help determine the repair locations, and how to minimize construction impacts on residents and businesses.
