Beech Trunk Sewer Project

Environmental Services has finished construction on a project to repair large-diameter trunk sewer pipes near Interstate-5 and N Interstate Ave. This project will reduce the risks of basement sewer backups, flooding, and emergency repairs in the future.
Construction on the emergency repairs within the PBOT Maintenance Yard are currently taking place. All other work related to the Beech Trunk Sewer Project are complete.

Project Area  

The project is located to the south end of Mississippi Avenue where Monroe St intersects and into the PBOT Maintenance yard. 

Schedule 

Construction is complete on the Beech Trunk Project. Crews are finalizing work on an emergency sinkhole that opened up in the PBOT maintenance yard.

What's Happening Now

A sinkhole was discovered on a section of the Beech Trunk within the PBOT maintenance yard. Crews are finalizing repairs to the section of trunk sewer in the PBOT Maintenance Yard.

What to Expect During Construction

Construction creates noise, vibration, and dust and disrupts normal neighborhood activity.

You may experience traffic delays near the active work zone. Please follow all construction and traffic signage to help keep our works zones safe.
