Beech Trunk Sewer Project

Environmental Services has finished construction on a project to repair large-diameter trunk sewer pipes near Interstate-5 and N Interstate Ave. This project will reduce the risks of basement sewer backups, flooding, and emergency repairs in the future.
Construction on the emergency repairs within the PBOT Maintenance Yard are currently taking place. All other work related to the Beech Trunk Sewer Project are complete.

Project Area  

The project is located to the south end of Mississippi Avenue and the N Greeley Avenue exit ramp that runs under I-5. 

Schedule 

Construction is complete on the Beech Trunk Project. Crews are actively repairing the section of trunk sewer in the PBOT Maintenance Yard.

What's Happening Now

On Monday, May 26. A sinkhole was discovered on a section of the Beech Trunk within the PBOT Maintenance Yard. Repairs to that sinkhole and the surrounding pipe are currently taking place as an emergency project. 

What to Expect During Construction

Construction creates noise, vibration, and dust and disrupts normal neighborhood activity.

You may experience traffic delays near the active work zone. Please follow all construction and traffic signage to help keep our works zones safe.
