Process and Timeline

The grant application is a three-step process, including notification of intent to apply, an application, and a conversation with the grant review committee. The grant review committee will review applications to determine who advances to the second step. 

  • December 16, 2025: Review panel interest forms released
  • January 8 and January 13, 2026: Virtual info sessions
  • January 16, 2026: Grant application released
  • January 16 to February 20, 2026: Virtual technical assistance office hours
  • January 23, 2026: Review panel interest form due
  • February 12, 2026: Review panel orientation
  • 5 p.m. January 22, 2026: Deadline to notify project manager of intent to apply
  • 12 p.m. February 19, 2026: Applications due
  • March 13, 2026: Selected applicants are invited to participate in a conversation with the Grant Review Committee
  • March 17 to 19, 2026: Conversations between applicants and the Grant Review Committee
  • April 1, 2026: Notification of awards
  • April 2026: Grantee Orientation
  • Summer 2027: Activities, projects, and programs completed and funds expended
