Apply for a Community Watershed Stewardship Program Grant

Service
If you have a project that benefits your community and the environment, you can apply for a Community Watershed Stewardship Program (CWSP) grant of up to $12,000.

After submitting a pre-application, you'll receive notification within 2-3 weeks to whether your project is invited to submit a full application.

Applying for a CWSP grant is a two-stage process:

  • Step 1: Submit a pre-application. A grant review committee reviews the pre-applications and selects applicants to complete full applications.
  • Step 2: If selected, CWSP coordinators then invite selected applicants to submit a full application.

Before starting an application, please see the application timeline for important dates.

Step 1: Pre-Application

Note: The most recent round of CWSP applications closed on March 31, 2025. The application forms will be published when the next grant cycle opens.

Step 2: Full Application

Note: The most recent round of CWSP applications closed on March 31, 2025. The application forms will be published when the next grant cycle opens.
