Apply for a Community Watershed Stewardship Program Grant

Service
If you have a project that benefits your community and the environment, you can apply for a Community Watershed Stewardship Program (CWSP) grant of up to $12,000. The two-page pre-application for projects is due the last week of January.

After submitting a pre-application, you'll receive notification within 2-3 weeks to whether your project is invited to submit a full application.

Applying for a CWSP grant is a two-stage process:

  • Step 1: Submit a pre-application. A grant review committee reviews the pre-applications and selects applicants to complete full applications.
  • Step 2: If selected, CWSP coordinators then invite selected applicants to submit a full application.

Step 1: Pre-Application

Download and complete the pre-application form (available in both PDF and Word formats).

We're Here to Help

CWSP is committed to supporting applicants throughout the process, so don’t let limited grant-writing or environmental experience stop you from applying. Call or email us for assistance with the application process. Find contact information for the CWSP coordinators on this page.
