Apply for a Community Watershed Stewardship Program Grant

Service
If you have a project that benefits your community and the environment, you can apply for a Community Watershed Stewardship Program (CWSP) grant of up to $12,000. The two-page pre-application for projects is due by 4 p.m. on the first Friday of February each year.

After submitting a pre-application, you'll receive notification in March as to whether your project is invited to submit a full application. Full applications are due the third Friday of April. Funding decisions are announced in May.

  1. Learn About the Grant Application Process

Applying for a CWSP grant is a two-stage process:

    1. First, you submit a pre-application.
    2. Second, a grant review committee reviews the pre-applications. CWSP will then invite selected applicants to submit a full application.

For comprehensive information about the application process including full instructions, selection criteria, and resources, see the Grant Guide.

  2. Download Pre-Application

  3. Complete Pre-Application
