We offer financial assistance for eligible properties to receive environmental site assessment reports. Projects must demonstrate financial need and community benefit. Please give us a call to find out if your project is eligible. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
The application form takes about 20 minutes to complete.
Review Eligibility Criteria
Environmental Services administers brownfield grants from the Environmental Protection Agency.
These grants allow us to provide financial assistance to eligible property owners who are concerned about possible contamination on their land. There are three criteria for eligibility:
- The current property owner cannot be responsible for the contamination.
- The project must demonstrate financial need for funding.
- The proposed project must demonstrate community benefit, such as new jobs, new goods/services/amenities, reduction of a health hazard, or returning a long-vacant site to reuse.
