How to find if your property is in a floodplain
- Search FEMA's flood maps by address
- Search Portland Maps to determine if your property is within the FEMA Special (100-year) Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) or the Composite February 1996 Flood Inundation Area:
- Type in an address to begin your search.
- On the right side of the screen, scoll down and select the Public Safety tab.
- Scroll down to the Hazard section to find out if a property is in or near the FEMA Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) and/or the Composite February 1996 Flood Inundation Area.
